The Lagoondy Surf Lodge in Bidart
The lodge is just a 10 minute walk to the sandy beach at Pavillon Royal, which is mid-way between
the surf spots in Biarritz and Bidart, close to shops and the camping**** Yelloh! Village d'Ilbarritz
(with swimming pool, tennis court, bar, and pizzeria snack).
At the Lagoondy Surfcamp lodge, you will share a bedroom for 2 to 4 persons, with all comforts (bathroom, wc, terrace, salon, kitchen corner, TV, Internet) in a comfortable villa with a big garden. There are bicycles available for getting about between surf sessions and access to the pool at the nearby campsite.
Rooms are organised by age and boys/girls, minors are under our responsability during the whole week.
All meals, surf lessons and supervision at the lodge take place in a family atmosphere.
Airport and train station pickups and dropoffs at Biarritz are included.
At the LAGOONDY SURF LODGE, the ocean plans the day's activities !
We plan the days activities according to the tides, the weather and the waves in Bidart or Biarritz.
We will take you surfing at the Pavillon Royal beach in Bidart 10 minutes walk from the lodge and where we have a bungalow on the beach, or at the world renowned Cote des Basques beach in Biarritz, a 5 minute drive from the lodge and where we also have the surf school facilities.
Our team of qualified professional surf instructors are on hand throughout the day so that you get every chance to surf. They'll teach you about the waves and respect for the ocean to help you learn fast, gain confidence and surpass yourself in the surf.
We have a wide selection of quality surfing equipment (surfboards, bodyboards, longboards, skimboards) so that you always use a board adapted to your level of experience as you progress.
Lessons take place around the low tide, beginners get 1 or 2 lessons a day, conditions permitting.
The group is limited to 8 persons.
You can continue surfing with our boards and wetsuits before or after lessons. Our instructors decide if conditions are suitable for each participant.
